No. In fact, the daughter of a friend of mine called me this morning and said, “I can bring an iPhone. I can explain to you how to use it.” And I said, “Not having these things is not an accident.” I know they exist. It’s like not having children: it was no accident.
Fran might travel in different circles, but everyone I know has — and depends on — at least a cell phone, if not multiple ones, as well as tablets, computers, and other gadgets that need charging and maintenance. So yes, my latest adventure could happen to you, too — in Roslyn Heights, Sunny Isles Beach, Sante Fe, Whitewater, anywhere!
